Photography began as an extension of my interest in nature and it has become a way of sharing my passion for the out-of-doors.  Recently, I find much of my work involving colors, shapes, and motion.  Not satisfied with just documenting what I see through the camera, I strive to find intimate and alternative views.  At times, I will have my camera lens almost touching the subject.  I want to capture delicate and beautiful shapes - to the point that the subject I am photographing is almost unidentifiable.

Alternatively, I may move the camera to create a fluid motion of colors and shapes.  I may place the camera on a tripod and let motion happen in front of the lens or I may take multiple exposures that I blend together into one image. Photography is a way for me to express myself, regardless if it is for work or fun.
