A black and white image can be powerful. It can have so many shades of blacks, grays and whites that sometimes I find them more colorful than a color photograph.

When I first became serious about photography I set up a darkroom in my basement. It was a great way for me to learn and experiments with images. Now I create B&W images in my digital darkroom. Here I can create a variety of versions of the same photo, but without the chemicals.
